Kathryn
Everly is Assistant Professor of Spanish in the
Department of Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Syracuse University.
Professor Everly completed her B.A. at Barnard College, her M.A. at New York
University in Madrid and her Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Austin. She
has published Catalan Women Writers and
Artists: Feminist Views from a Revisionist Space (Bucknell 2003) and
articles in Hispanic Journal, Catalan Review, Monographic Review, and Letras
Peninsulares among others. Her articles have also appeared in the
anthologies Gen X Rocks (Vanderbilt
2007), The Contemporary Extreme
(Continuum 2006), and La mujer en la
Espaņa actual (Icaria 2004). Her current project looks at the
representation of history and reality in contemporary fiction.
